BINTULU: The A team of Natural Resources and Environment Board (NREB) Bintulu won the Doubles Petanque competition organised in conjunction with NREB 20th anniversary here recently.

Second to fourth places went to Sports and Culture Education Service Association (PSKPP) Bintulu, Bintulu Hospital and SESCO C respectively.
While fifth to eight places respectively went to PSKPP Tatau, PSKPP Sebauh, NREB Miri B and NREB Miri A. A total of 40 teams from government agencies and private sectors in Bintulu, Tatau and Sebauh took part in the event at Bintulu Old Airport site.
It was organised by NREB Bintulu in collaboration with Sarawak Petanque Association.
The winner received RM300, trophy and medal while second to fourth places received RM200, RM150 and RM100 respectively with trophy and medal each.
Fifth to eight place winners also received medal as consolation prize and others were given certificate of participation.
The closing and prize giving ceremony was officiated by NREB Sarawak deputy controller Justine Jok Jau Emang.
