KUCHING: Extreme metal band Carcass from Liverpool in the United Kingdom will headline a concert here on Monday.

Kuching is one of the band’s stops for the Autopsying Asia Tour 2014 and the sole show in Malaysia.
The concert called ‘Borneo Extreme Fest 2014’ will be held at Stadium Perpaduan — the State Indoor Stadium — in Petra Jaya.
It will also feature other supporting acts from the region.
Tickets priced at RM120 each will be available at the entrance.
Carcass was formed in 1985, disbanded in 1995, and reformed in 2007.
Known as pioneers of the grindcore genre, they also became originators of melodic death metal with their 1993 album ‘Heartwork’.
‘Borneo Extreme Fest 2014’ is organised by Persatuan Gerak Rintis Industri Muzik Metal Kuching (Grimms) in collaboration with Soundworks Touring and Karunguni.
