SIBU: Chua Beng Seng was unanimously elected chairman of Sarawak United People’s Party (SUPP) Nangka branch for 2014-2017 during its first general meeting.
At the general meeting held at the party’s headquarters here yesterday afternoon, Augustine Ngu Liong Ing was elected deputy chairman while four posts of vice-chairmen went to Kapitan Ng Kian Ko, Chieng Sie Kong, Cr John Lau Hui Sing and Ting Tieng Hui.
Cr Siao Sing Tiong is the secretary, assisted by Loh Ling Tai, Wong Kiong Khing and Alan Ting.
Ting Jack Sing is treasurer. His assistant is John Lee Kie Leong.
Pang Mii Yan is the branch’s youth chief while Choo Bee Lang its wanita chief.
Organising secretary is Loi Kwong Lee with Sim Lih Ping as his assistant. The publicity secretary is Tieu Ung Hua.
Yii Ming Huat is in charge of welfare, assisted by Andrew Chiong Yew Kuok.
The committee members are Kapitan Lee Lay Own, Kapitan Ong Chee Kiong, Ambrose Leong Poh Khuen, William Ling Kui Ong, Wong Suk Nguk, Ling Kuoh Leong, Wong Ai Khing, Ting Yew Kong, Ting Sing Huong, Yii Ming Huong, Soo Min Sien, Lau Kie, Yiu Mei Kieu, Yeo Siok Chew, Yeo Siok Choo, Shirley Tiong Siew Ching and Wong Ho Kwang.
Among those present at the general meeting were SUPP Central’s organising secretary Mathew Chen, secretary Datuk Sebastian Ting, vice-president Datuk Francis Hardin, Bukit Assek branch chairman Chieng Buong Toon and Dudong branch chairman Datuk Soon Choon Teck.
