Anwar: Not wrong for Rafizi to hold two posts in PKR

KUALA LUMPUR: The appointment of Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR) vice-president Rafizi Ramli as the party’s secretary-general does not go against the PKR constitution.

PKR de facto leader Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim said this was because the party’s constitution allowed any member to hold two posts in the party.

“It is the party president who appointed Rafizi as secretary-general. It’s a good decision and there is no ruling that prevents it,” he said.

On Sunday, PKR announced Rafizi’s appointment as the party’s secretary-general to replace Datuk Saifuddin Nasution Ismail who has been appointed as the elections co-chairman together with another PKR vice-president, Nurul Izzah Anwar.  – Bernama
