SIBU: A man, in his 50s, has claimed that his own son hit him with a chair on Monday.
According to a report lodged on the same day at Sibu Central police station, the victim said the incident occurred at his house around 6pm after his unemployed 20-something son asked for some money from his mother.
“When she did not give him any, he shouted at her. Seeing this, I slapped him for being rude to his mother.
It was after that when he picked up a chair and hit me with it,” the middle-age complainant told police.
