BESUT: A housewife has lodged a police report claiming that her husband, who is believed to be a drug addict, has threatened to kill her and their two-month-old daughter.
The 27-year-old woman, who lives in a village near Bandar Jerteh, made the report on Tuesday at the Jerteh Police Station.
She claimed that her husband had often threatened her and the latest threat was on Monday when he sent two messages via SMS.
In the initial message he had threatened to stab her and their daughter and in the other he had threatened to slaughter them as she had refused to fulfil his demands.
Meanwhile, Besut Police acting chief DSP Nor Halim Nordin, when contacted, confirmed the case and said a report was received on Tuesday. — Bernama
