BANJARMASIN, South Kalimantan: Head of the Banjarmasin Transportation, Communication, and Information Agency, Kasman, said main terminal renovation on Jalan Ahmad Yani Km6 Banjarmasin scheduled to be completed in 2015, Antaranews reported.
He said the renovation is now about 60 percent. “So about July 30, 2015 the main terminal construction expected to be completed,” he said on Tuesday.
Construction of the Km6 terminal spent Rp24 billion Banjarmasin budget funds budgeted on multi-year basis.
Terminal facilities constructed with four floors, some of which a viewing tower, break room, ticket booth, a prayer room, health room, WC, and there is even a nursing mother. In addition, two-story building was built and dozens of stalls.
“Just when it’s finished, it can be said terminal is equivalent to terminal type A,” he said.
He hoped that with the completion of the terminal can later increase the city’s revenue.
