LAHAD DATU: A man in his 30s suffered a broken waist after his Toyota Vigo car was hit by a trailer at Jalan Tamoi, Batu 5 along Lahad Datu-Sandakan Road about 2pm yesterday.

It was learnt that the trailer was heading towards Lahad Datu from Sandakan where the driver lost control of his wheel due to heavy rain and skidded to the opposite direction, hitting the Toyota Vigo.
The trailer driver suffered a broken arm in the incident. Both victims were sent to Lahad Datu Hospital for treatment.
