SIBU: Big bikers from Terengganu, who are currently on the ‘Kembara Muhibbah’ of Sarawak, Brunei and Sabah, are touched by the hospitality of Sarawakians.

TRG club president Husni Lop Yusof said they were given a rousing welcome on their arrival in Kuching on Thursday.

“We feel very much at home in Sarawak,” he said prior to their departure for Miri
yesterday.

“Apart from exploring the beauty of Sarawak, Brunei and Sabah, the trip also aims to promote our big bike gathering to be held in May 2015 in Terengganu.”

Meanwhile, ‘Kembara Muhibbah’ director Tarmizi Mohamad said the beauty of Sarawak, its friendly people, food and nature has made participants eager to return in the near future.

“Sarawak, in particular, and Borneo island in general is truly a wonderful place for two-wheel tourism.

“This is our inaugural ride throughout Borneo island to foster closer rapport between big bikers of Terengganu and those in Sarawak, Brunei and Sabah,” he said.

After Miri, the big bikers will head to Lawas, then Brunei and Sabah. The 10-day ‘Kembara Muhibbah’ is endorsed and sponsored by the Terengganu state government.
