KUCHING: Thirty-six referees from Sri Aman, Kapit, Simunjan and Samaharan attended the State Futsal Refereeing course at SK Dato Traoh in Samarahan last Saturday.
The three-day course was jointly organised by the Football Association of Malaysia and Samarahan Division Football Association.
National referee officer Marsid Dahlan said the participants underwent theoretical and fitness training at the Kota Samarahan Indoor Stadium.
“This course is to upgrade the skills and fitness of local referees especially in future futsal competitions at national level,” he said.
“I am confident that those who completed the course are equipped with better skills and experience to officiate in both state and national futsal competitions,” he added.
