Public invited to lion dance display

KUCHING: Wushu, Lion & Dragon Dance Federation of Sarawak, being a member of Persekutuan Tarian Naga and Singa Malaysia, are promoting a course on traditional lion dance.

The federation is led by its president Dato Seri Tiong King Sing who is also vice president of the national body.

The course will be held at the pavilion in front of the D’Pavilion Cafe at Taman Sahabat, Kuching on this Saturday (Nov 8).

It will start at 7pm and the public is invited to come and enjoy the performances of troupes from various parts of Sarawak including those in Kuching, Sibu, Bintulu, Saratok and Bau.

The federation will also be organising a national-level lion and dragon dances coaching and judging course in December.
