BANJARBARU, South Kalimantan: A thirty-two year-old autistic died when his house caught fire in Banjarbaru on Wednesday evening, Antaranews reported.
The visually challenged victim Wahyuddin was alone at the time of the incident at Jalan Peramuan, Citra Bangun Persada Complex, Block B No. 18, Landasan Ulin Tengah Village, Banjarbaru.
The fire started at about 5pm.
Nearby residents who helped douse the flames found the victim’s in a corner of the house.
Chairman of the Neighborhood of Citra Bangun Persada Complex Lisnanto said a loud explosion was heard prior to the fire.
