KOTA BATU, BRUNEIMUARA: Emphasis is given towards Human Resource Development and this is reflected in the Brunei Darussalam Budget allocation, in which the education sector receives the second highest allocation of almost thirteen per cent of the current national budget, ©BRUDIRECT.COM reported.

The National Youth Policy also identifies Employment and Training as well as Entrepreneurship as the two key strategic areas for the development of young people towards resilient and excellent youth.

The matter was explained by the Deputy Minister at the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports at the welcoming dinner reception for International Delegates for Commonwealth Asia Alliance of Young Entrepreneurs Summit 2014 last night at the Mangrove Paradise Resort in Jalan Kota Batu.

Yang Mulia Datin Paduka Hjh Adina binti Othman also urged the young entrepreneurs to be brave, dare to dream, dare to think different and dare to take risks in creating new products as the youth have a better understanding of the possibilities and may be able to anticipate the needs and desire of the potential market.

According to Yang Mulia Datin, an area in which more and more young people are venturing into is social enterprise.

It is an extremely healthy development and reflects on the sense of belonging and the ownership which the youth feel in the development of the community.

The Sultanate is currently hosting the two-day 3rd summit which started yesterday.

With the theme, “Innovate with Purpose”, the summit that is participated by over one hundred and fifty dynamic young entrepreneurs from all the Commonwealth Asia Region countries namely Brunei Darussalam, Bangladesh, India, Malaysia, Maldives, Nepal, Pakistan, Sri Lanka and Singapore.
