SEGi, sole winner of international education brand award for Malaysia

KUCHING: SEGi University Group’s (SEGi) winning streak continues at the World Branding Awards held at London, UK recently.

SEGi is proud to be the only winner from Malaysia in the Education category for the Brand Excellence Award 2014 – 2015.

The World Branding Awards is the premier awards of the World Branding Forum (WBF). The awards saw some of the world’s best brands recognised for their work and achievements. A total of 68 brands from 25 countries were honoured at the awards ceremony.

Winners of the Brand Excellence Award were judged through a stringent assessment process to determine the level of work put in by a brand for their branding activities, and the level of trust that the brands’ customers and the general public has about the brand.

SEGi is one of the six Malaysian brands to be granted the award, and one of the two in the Education category. The other winner in the Education category is the University of Oxford, UK.

“It is truly an honour that our branding and marketing efforts are recognised on a global scale,” said Kim Odhner, group executive director for SEGi.

“It not only speaks volume of the general public’s trust towards the SEGi brand, but also the fact that SEGi’s duty to bring out the best in its students and its employees have been fulfilled. We will not rest on our laurels and will continue to raise the bar in education excellence.”
