MCMC considering offer compensation to consumers that suffer from poor cellular networks

Due to a number of complaints from consumers towards their networks, the MCMC will be looking for a way to ease consumers suffering.

Deputy Minister of Communications and Multimedia, Datuk Jailani Johari commented on this matter that they are currently in talks with local telco to search for an alternative way to rebate consumers who constantly experiencing dropped calls due to weak network issues.

Datuk Jailani also further explain that when 1,000 new radio telecommunications towers are built in the future, this issue will likely to be reduced.
