BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN: His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah, the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam, yesterday consented to present Letter of Credence to Brunei Darussalam’s newly-appointed Permanent Representative of Brunei Darussalam to Geneva, Switzerland and receive Letter of Credence from the newly-appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Korea to Brunei Darussalam, ©BRUDIRECT.COM reported.
His Majesty first consented to present the Letter of Credence to Brunei Darussalam Permanent Representative of Brunei Darussalam to Geneva, Switzerland, His Excellency Dato Paduka Haji Awg Mahdi bin Pehin Orang Kaya DiGadong Seri Diraja Dato Laila Utama Haji Awg Abdul Rahman.
His Majesty then consented to receive Letter of Credence from the newly-appointed Foreign Envoy to Brunei Darussalam, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Korea to Brunei Darussalam, His Excellency Mr. Cho Won Myung.
Following the ceremony, His Majesty then consented to receive audience from His Excellency Dato Paduka Haji Awg Mohd Mahdi, who has previously served as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Brunei Darussalam to the Arab Republic of Egypt.
His Majesty later granted an audience to His Excellency Mr. Cho Won Myung. His Excellency previously served as the Senior Assistant Secretary to the President for Foreign Affairs, Office of the President, Republic of Korea.
