KUCHING: Titijaya Land Bhd (Titijaya Land), was awarded ‘Malaysia’s Top New Generation Property Developer Award’ at the Top Asia Corporate Ball 2014 held at the Palace Of The Golden Horses, Kuala Lumpur.

“We are very honoured to have received this award in recognition of our hard work over the past year.

“It’s been merely a year since our listing on the main market of Bursa Malaysia but we believe that we have achieved quite a bit this year alone with our strengthened platform,” commented Lim Poh Yit, group chief operating officer of Titijaya.

So far this year, the group has been nominated and awarded various awards such as the Brandlaureate Brand Icon Leadership Award 2014 in recognition of Lim’s iconic leadership and achievements as a successful property developer.

It also garnered the Asia Pacific Property Awards Development in recognition for the Group’s highly commended website, as well as the Southeast Asia Property Asia Property Awards (Malaysia) in recognition of the Group’s H20 at Ara Damansara project.

Titijaya Land also won the Brandlaureate World SME Best Brand Awards in recognition of the Group’s performance during the year 2013.

During its initial public offering (IPO), the group reported a project portfolio with a total gross development value (GDV) of RM4.2 billion. Today, Titijaya carries a project portfolio of on-going and upcoming projects with a GDV of RM8.52 billion.

Throughout the year, Titijaya has successfully secured developments in strategically located areas such as Penang Island, KL Sentral and Ara Damansara.

The group believes transit oriented developments will be the next trend of developments; accessibility will be a key factor to buyers. Titijaya’s developments will also be catering towards the affordable housing scheme that was announced during Malaysia’s Budget 2015.

“It has been an exhilarating year for the Group as we achieved to double our GDV since our listing. Our goal is to become the next generation of Malaysia’s premier property developer and we are very optimistic about the Group’s future growth,” Lim added.
