MIRI: A man succumbed to head injuries after falling from the balcony of the third floor of a shop house at Centre Point here on Nov 20 at about 5pm on Tuesday.
The 27-year-old from Pontianak, Indonesia was believed to have fallen from the third floor balcony in the 3.30am incident on Nov 20 in his attempt to break into the building.
The tenant saw a ‘shadow’ behind the window and moved nearer for a closer look, startling the suspect who fell from the balcony on the third floor.
He was found on the ground with head injuries by a coffee shop owner who opened for business at about 5.30am.
The suspect was rushed to Miri Hospital but died in hospital five days later.
Police are investigating.
