Paramedics attend to the man who fell from the pedestrian bridge to the road in front of Miri CPS.
MIRI: A man in his 30s suffered injuries on several parts of his body after his attempt to hang himself from an overhead pedestrian bridge in front of Miri Central Police Station (CPS) here at about 12midnight Sunday failed.
Eyewitnesses who were standing in front of the CPS rushed up the bridge to stop him but before they could get near the man fell from the bridge which is about 15 metres high.
They immediately called the Miri Hospital which dispatched an ambulance to take him to hospital.
The man was reported to be in stable condition.
