KUALA LUMPUR: A first category strong wind and choppy sea condition are expected to persist in the waters of Sabah and Labuan Federal Territory until Tuesday (Dec 9).
A statement from the Malaysian Meteorological Department today said similar conditions were also expected to hit the waters of Condore, Reef North, Layang-layang, Palawan, Sulu and Sulawesi, until Tuesday.
Strong north-easterly winds with speeds of between 40 and 50 kilometres per hour and waves as high as 3.5 metres in the area would be dangerous for small boats and sea recreation. — BERNAMA
