BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN: An Indonesian woman was sent to jail for twelve months after she failed to pay the BND$17,000 fine for a customs offence, Brudirect reported.
The Bandar Seri Begawan Magistrate’s Court found the thirthy-five-year-old Sindi guilty for possessing fifty two cartons and six packets of cigarettes of various brand at a house at Kg Jerudong last Monday.
All the cigarettes were confiscated to be destroyed.
