KOTA KINABALU: Sabah Chief Minister Datuk Seri Musa Aman has advised those exposed or at high risk of being infected with the human immune deficiency virus (HIV) to undergo screening as a measure to prevent and detect HIV infection.
He said the government provided free HIV screening for pre-marriage couple, pregnant women and HIV patients in all government hospitals and health clinics.
“The government gives full commitment and support to ensure preventive measures are implemented for all strata of society,” he said when officiating the state level World Aids Day celebration here yesterday. — Bernama
