SIBU: A businessman claimed that he was the wrongly targetted by individuals who set fire to his house last Thursday.
The houseowner told reporters here that he was shocked to see Molotov cocktails being hurled at his property in Kiew Nang Road at 3.45am.
The fire damaged the front section of his house.
Fortunately for the victim, his neighbours helped him out and managed to put out the flames before they consumed the whole house.
“It appeared that I was the wrong target for the criminals. I appeal to them not to return here and harm my family members. I am just a simple businessman and I believe that I have never offended anyone,” he said.
