According to eye-witnesses, the car driven by a man suddenly swerved into the coffee shop and hit the victims who were at that time adjusting the shop’s bamboo blind.

“Luckily, the shop is not opened for business this morning, if not, more will be injured,” said Munah, one of the shop’s workers told The Borneo Post.

An ambulance also dashed to the scene to rush the injured victims to hospital.

One of the staff sustained injuries on his body while another worker was injured on his head.

Sources added that during the incident, one of the workers was on a ladder to adjust the bamboo blind when a car out of nowhere rammed into both of them.
