BANJARMASIN, South Kalimantan: South Kalimantan became the largest area that absorbs Pertamina Bright Gas sales during 2014, said Pertamina’s External Relations Senior Supervisor Marketing Operation Region VI Andar Titi Lestari, Antaranews reported.
“The biggest one in Bright gas sales is South Kalimantan region as much as 79,425 canisters, followed by East Kalimantan and North Kalimantan as much as 77,537 canisters,” said Andar, through a press release on Tuesday.
He explained that, until mid-December 2014, PT Pertamina (Persero) Marketing Operation Region VI has sold Bright Gas in Kalimantan as much as 3,351 metric tons, equivalent to 279 269 canisters.
According to him, people here already aware of the quality of the goods, so the purchase increasingly impressive. No need to wait for a year, since it was introduced in May 2014 in Balikpapan, Pertamina Bright Gas sold to 87 percent of the target, amounting to 3,846 metric tons, equivalent to 320 482 canisters.
Andar asserted, it only took seven months, sales achievement of Bright Gas in Kalimantan was already above average.
Bright gas is 12 kg liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) canister available in four colors, namely red purple metallic, blue purple metallic, astroid green metallic and bluish green metallic.
