MIRI: A man in his 30s and his friend escaped with minor injuries when the car they were travelling in was rammed by another vehicle at the traffic lights at Jalan Airport at about 9.30am yesterday.
The accident caused a massive traffic jam.
It is understood that the victim’s car, a Lexus, was rammed by a Toyota Hilux coming from the direction of Taman Tunku heading towards city centre.
The Lexus was said to be from Riam Road heading towards Airport Road.
The impact of the collision pushed the victim’s car to the opposite lane, causing it to hit two Mercedes Benzes.
The Lexus was badly damaged in the accident.
