BANJARBARU, South Kalimantan (Antaranews Kalimantan) – Banjarbaru Narcotics and Drug Investigation Unit Police destroys 22.77 grams of crystal methamphetamine or shabu-shabu seized from three suspects, Antaranews reported.
“The destruction is done by soaking crystal meth into the detergent solution and then discharged into toilet,” said Banjarbaru Narcotics Police Chief AKP Adji in between activities.
The extermination of confiscated illicit goods witnessed by the Head of the National Narcotics Agency (BNN) Banjarbaru Noor Fadilah, representatives of the District Court and State Prosecutors Banjarbaru.
Three men owners of the crystal meth with initials AR, NA and PA are also presented in the process of destruction of evidence that the price per gram is quite expensive.
“Destruction is as part of the legal procedure so that only a small portion set aside for evidence in court, the rest is destroyed,” he explained.
According to him, dozens of grams of shabu-shabu culled from three suspects who were arrested on Saturday (13/12) when they want to deal on Jalan Angkasa, Banjarbaru.
“The three suspects subject to Article 132 in conjunction with Article 114 paragraph 2 of Law No. 35 of 2009 on narcotics with a penalty of at least 6 years in prison,” said Adji.
