Curtin University to hold information events in Peninsular Malaysia this month

MIRI: Curtin University will hold its ‘Curtin University Sessions with Parents’ and ‘Curtin University Information Day’ events in various locations in Peninsular Malaysia tomorrow (Jan 10).

The events provide opportunities for potential students to learn more about studying at the university’s campuses in Australia, Malaysia and Singapore.

The ‘Curtin University Sessions with Parents’ will take place at the StudyExcel branch offices at No. 26-1, Jalan Chung Thye Phin, Ipoh, Perak on Jan 10; No.39, Nagore Road, Penang on Jan 18; No.1, Jalan SS 15/7, Subang Jaya, Selangor on Jan 25; and No. 18-01 & 18-02, Jalan Austin Heights 3/2, Taman Mount Austin, Johor Bahru, Johor on Jan 31.

Representatives from Curtin University’s main campus in Perth and its branch campuses in Sarawak and Singapore will be present at all the events from 10am to 5pm for counselling sessions, career discussions and personality tests.

Meanwhile, the ‘Curtin University Information Day’ events will also be held in the same cities – at IBIS Hotel, Ipoh (Jan 11); Sunway Hotel, Penang (Jan 17); Empire Hotel, Subang Jaya (Jan 24); and KSL Hotel, Johor Bahru on Jan 30. All the events will be from 10am to 5pm.

In addition to briefings on the University and transfer to the campuses in Perth, Sydney and Singapore, the Information Day events will also include talks on topics such as ‘What is engineering?’ and ‘Wealth Management’, as well as motivational talks.
