KUALA LUMPUR: The government will identify the best way to improve the quality of the country’s public transport service for the sake of public comfort, said Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak.

The prime minister said based on his experience using light rail transit (LRT) yesterday, there was still room for improvement.

“After attending the Friday prayers, I took the LRT from the Putra World Trade Centre (PWTC) station to KL Sentral with other city residents.

“Many were surprised to see me there.

“But Alhamdulillah, they were not shy in giving their feedback on our public transport system,” Najib said in his latest entry in his Facebook account yesterday.

In his entry, he also shared several photographs of himself mingling with LRT staff and commuters. — Bernama
