KUCHING: Rescue operations by Sarawak Forestry Corporation’s Swift Wildlife Action Team (SFC-SWAT) has yet to find the sick sun bear that was spotted by plantation workers last Saturday, Jan 30.
Wildlife rescuers only commenced operation today after their operation was thwarted Sunday and Monday due to flooding. SFC will continue its operation tomorrow.
“As it is getting dark, the team will spend the night in the jungle and resume operation at first light tomorrow morning,” SFC said in a statement to The Borneo Post.
