MIRI: A woman narrowly escaped death when her car crashed into a house at Promin Jaya in Senadin early yesterday.

The 30-something, however, injured both her legs in the 6am incident.

According to the house owner, he was stunned upon hearing a loud bang coming from outside.

“I rushed out and was shocked to see a car having rammed the concrete wall of my house. The car was wrecked. I immediately called police and the hospital,” he said, adding that some of his neighbours also came out to help the women get out of the car.

Police are still investigating the actual cause of the incident. It is believed that the victim could have lost control of her vehicle, causing it to turn aside abruptly and hit the concrete wall.
