Maid hurt after incident involving employer

The maid has to walk using a stick as support after the incident.

SIBU: A foreigner maid fell from a ladder on Thursday after her employer allegedly kicked the ladder as the latter was angry that she did not finished her chores quickly.

The 30-year-old maid suffered injuries to her waist and left leg in the 7am fall.

Her employer, with whom she had worked for only a few months, was said to have asked the agent to send her away.

While they were on the way, the employer stopped their car and allegedly dragged the maid out.

It was believed that the agent drove off, leaving her by the roadside. She sought help from the police and told them that she was sick recently and believed that her employer was unhappy that she could not finish her job quickly.

Due to the injuries she sustained, she had to use a stick when walking.
