KUCHING: Two women, including a senior citizen, from Tabuan Dayak claimed that they were molested by an intruder while sleeping early yesterday morning.
According to witnesses, the victims were sleeping with family members and relatives in the living room after a wedding celebration at the house.
In the incident that occurred around 5am, a 60-year-old victim woke up when she felt her breast and neck being caressed.
While she was relating the incident to her daughter, her sister walked up to them and claimed that she too was molested.
They immediately switched on the lights, only to see ‘a man hallucinating and sitting at the corner’, before letting loose their screams for help.
The man was detained and surrendered to the mobile unit police for further action. The suspect who is in his 40s was brought to the police station for further investigation.
