MIRI: Bold colours, flowers, leaves and line patterns are some of the must-have prints in your wardrobe to welcome the spring festival in style.

“Although red is still very much a favourite colour among the Chinese community as it represents happiness, prosperity and good luck, more young people love to play with colours, mixing and matching to give a refreshing look.

“Hence, it gives us the idea to introduce our new range of collection by Spanish label, Desigual,” Linda Lai, founder of Creative Bazaar said.

Naming the gold, rose gold, and prints as the hottest trends for 2015, Lai reiterated that more locals were comparatively more accepting than in previous years.

“Choosing colours is very important, as its represents very much our personality to the public. Bold colour and prints, on the other hand, reflect a more outspoken, independent and confident woman,” she explained during the Creative Bazaar fashion show last Saturday.

Held at Bintang Megamall, the colourful fashion show organised in conjunction with the upcoming Chinese New Year attracted hundreds of shoppers and fashion enthusiasts.
