Petronas players receiving the overall champion trophy from Megalanes East assistant manager Jestini Kaboh after defeating 28 other teams in Miri’s Inter-Department Invitational Bowling Tournament last Sunday. Petronas also won the women’s doubles, trio and men’s trio events. The Education Dept was second and Curtin University Sarawak third overall. The men’s singles was won by Shah Nizam Doming (Curtin) followed by Wong Yiik Hoon (Education) and Harith Abdullah (Petronas). Fidatul Akmar, Fatimah Ayub and Hayati Mohamad finished top three in the women’s singles. The bowling tournament was the first of its kind organised by Megalanes East.
