Participants and officials assemble at the conclusion of the Kuching Closed Dart Competition at the Plaza Astana on Sunday.
KUCHING: Kuching Division Dart Association president Adam Sulaiman could not help but celebrate the success of the Kuching Closed Competition which ended at the Plaza Astana last Sunday.
“We intiailly targetted 50 to register for this tournament but we end up receiving 121 instead. We are definite grateful for the support,” he said.
The association, which currently have 150 registered members, is now seriously thinking of making the tournament an annual event.
Team Chain I, which comprised Rosli Mizan and Johari Piee, won the team event and the prize money of RM 700.
The individual championship was claimed by Mahruddin who pocketed RM 400.
Association patron Fazzrudin Abdul Rahman gave away the prizes for the three-day tournament.
