resolve the state BN’s issues.

National BN chairman Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak said this with regards to the issue of accepting Parti Tenaga Rakyat Sarawak (Teras) and United People’s Party (UPP) into the BN-fold.

“We hope to find a formula that will ensure a BN success. There are some differences of opinions and we will try to manage these in the best possible way,” he told a press conference after laying the foundation stone for the new Sri Aman Hospital yesterday.

Najib said he would leave the fate of Teras and UPP to state BN chairman Chief Minister Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Adenan Satem. “I am guided by BN Sarawak. This is more a BN Sarawak matter. We will be in close consultation with the BN Sarawak chairman on how to manage this.

“At the end of the day, it is very important for us to ensure that BN wins the (next) state election. This is our priority,” he said.
