SIBU: Chief Minister Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Adenan Satem and his wife Datin Patinggi Datuk Jamilah Anu visited Minister of Local Government and Community Development Dato Sri Wong Soon Koh in Sibu yesterday.
The visit was made in conjunction with the Chinese New Year celebration.
Upon arrival, the Chief Minister and entourage were welcomed by Wong and his wife, Datin Sri Pauline Leong.
The visitors were given a grand welcoming ceremony with a lion dance troupe performance.
Deputy Chief Minister Datuk Patinggi Alfred Jabu, Assistant Minister of Public Health Datuk Dr Jerip Susil, Sibu Municipal Council chairman Datuk Tiong Thai King, his deputy Datuk Andrew Wong, Nangka assemblyman Dr Annuar Rapaee and Kapitan Datuk Janet Lau were among those present.
