KUALA LUMPUR: Flood victims who have lost or damaged their Malaysian Higher School Certificate (STPM) and the Malaysian University English Test (MUET) can apply for replacement certificates from the Malaysian Examination Council (MPM) for free.
In its statement yesterday, MPM said the offer would begin from today (March 2) till March 20, and applications could be made through the respective state education departments.
“The exemption is only provided for victims from the flood affected states. Applications must be accompanied by a letter of confirmation from the village head and a police report,” the statement said.
According to the statement, the individuals who apply after the date will have to pay the usual fee of RM50 for STPM certificates, STPM result slips MUET slips applied for the first time (RM20), second time (RM30) and third time (RM50). — Bernama
