KUCHING: Pestech International Bhd (Pestech) has been awarded a contract for the construction of power substation for a total contract value of RM48.36 million.
The company in a filing to Bursa Malaysia yesterday said its wholly-owned subsidiary, Pestech Sdn Bhd had on February 27 received a letter of award from Sarawak Energy Bhd (SEB) in relation to SEB’s Samajaya 132/33/11 kilovolt (kV) substation establishment here.
Pestech noted the project marked its first indoor substation that the company will be building for SEB in Kuching.
Pestech added the project is expected to start on March 6 and is scheduled to be completed within 18 months from the commencement date.
Pestech believes the project is expected to contribute positively to the future earnings and net assets of the company.
