MIRI: Two men aged 28 and 54 were arrested yesterday at a budget inn in Jalan Lee Tak at about 10.40am for drug abuse.
The ambush was carried out after police became suspicious of the duo’s activity in one of the inn’s room.
Police found no illegal substance in their possession but they were taken to Miri Narcotics Crime Investigation Department where they were found positive for abuse of amphetamine.
Police are investigating their case under Section 15(1)(a) of the Dangerous Drug Act 1952.
