Datuk Hii Yii Peng
SIBU: Kingwood Hotel Group founder Datuk Hii Yii Peng passed away yesterday at 3.23am at Mount Elizabeth Specialist Hospital Centre, Singapore at the age of 86.
The encoffin ceremony will be held in Singapore tomorrow (March 5) at 5.35am.
Hii’s body is expected to arrive at Sibu Airport at 7.45am.
There will be a memorial service at Masland Methodist Church, Island Road at 9am.
The cortege will then proceed to the Hii Association Cemetery at Bukit Aup, Teku Road.
Hii is survived by his wife Datin Loh Leh Huong, a son, two daughters, sons and daughters-in-law and eight grandchildren.
