SIBU: SUPP president Prof. Senator Datuk Dr Sim Kui Hian visited the Chinese New Year Open House of several community leaders here on Monday.
His first stop was at the residence of Temenggong Vincent Lau. After spending about an hour with Vincent, Dr Sim proceeded to the residence of Sibu United Chinese Association (UCA) president, Ting Huat Chie.
Accompanying him were SUPP secretary-general Datuk Sebastian Ting, SUPP Pahlawan Branch chairman Clarence Ting Ing Horth, SUPP Bukit Assek Branch chairman Chieng Buong Toon, SUPP Dudong Branch chairman Datuk Dr Soon Choon Teck and SUPP Bawang Assan Branch chairman Robert Lau Hoi Yew.
