Firefighters faced a grisly task of extricating two drivers who died on the spot after their oil tanker and oil palm lorry collided at Km54 Jalan Bintulu-Tatau around 2.45pm yesterday. Tatau Fire Station chief Azrel Izaidi Ahmad said both drivers trapped inside the heavy vehicles were found dead. As at 4.30pm yesterday, their identities were yet to be ascertained while police are probing the cause of the accident.
