Police found blood stains inside this car.

SIBU: Police are determining whether the skeleton found on Monday was that of Sariba Ringkai, 61, who went missing since Feb 10.

A DNA test is being conducted on the skeleton. Two brothers found the skeleton while heading for their uncle’s house on Monday morning. They saw the skeleton when they stopped at Mile 11.5 Pasai Bon around 8.30am to answer nature’s call.

A day after Sariba was reported missing, police recovered his car at Sarikei with four blood stains on the front seats and one on the back seat. Sariba went missing after sending his granddaughter, 6, and a neighbour’s children to school around 8.30am.

When he did not return home with the children at 11.30am, his wife Ani Juhep called him but it was in vain. A police report was lodged. The couple has three daughters and a son.
