KUCHING: The absence of two key players will not stop Sarawak from securing three points when they take on Selangor in their away Super League match at Shah Alam Stadium tonight.

Head coach Roberts Albert is optimistic that his boys can put on a good show tonight despite missing foreign import player
Ivan Fatic who is serving a one-match suspension and Ronny Harun is struggling with an ankle injury.

He can sigh with relief that after winger Joseph Kalang Tie has returned to fitness and is available to play against the Red Giants.

During the Crocs’ training session at Padang C on Thursday, Joseph had indicated that he was ready to play and help his teammates overcome Selangor.

Although he still feels the pain on his left knee, the injury was not serious and he was recovering from it.

He was subsituted by Partiban Janasekeran in the 34th minute of the league match against Johor JDT at Larkin Stadium last week after suffering the injury to his knee.

“Selangor is a team with high reputation and many experienced players. I am sure that they will fully use their home ground advantage to secure three full points,” said Albert yesterday.

“As such, I want my players to improve their style of play and stay more focused especially in the defence because Selangor are surely planning something to defeat us,” he added.

Nevertheless, Alberts believes that his boys will not make it easy for their opponent and he will be making some changes to the team’s line-up.
