A goal from Mohd Rezuan midway into the first half was enough to help Risda beat Medic Sibu 1-0 to emerge champions of the 7-a-side football tournament which ended at the Prisons Field, Sibu last weekend. Finishing joint third were Rimba Hijau FC and TZ FC. Rezuan was also adjudged the best player while the top scorer award went to Medic Sibu’s Mohd Pazi with six goals. A total of 28 teams took part in the two-day competition which is traditionally the curtain raiser to the Sibu League which will start at Tun Zaidi Stadium on March 28.
