LUMUT, KUALA BELAIT: A nineteen-year-old man drowned in a swimming pool of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces Third Battalion in Lumut yesterday afternoon, Brudirect reported.
According to the Royal Brunei Police Force (RBPF), the mishap occurred at about 4.30pm when he jumped off a springboard into the 15-foot-deep pool.
CPR was administered after he was taken out of the pool.
He was rushed to Suri Seri Begawan Hospital in Kuala Belait, where he was pronounced dead.
