Royal congratulatory messages to Pakistan leaders

BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN: His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah, the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam has sent messages of congratulations to Mamnoon Hussain, President of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, and Muhammad Nawaz Sharif, Prime Minister of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, on the occasion of Pakistan Day, Brudirect reported.

In the message to the Pakistan president, His Majesty wished him and the people of Pakistan much happiness and prosperity. The message stated that His Majesty was confident that the much-valued friendship between the two countries would be further strengthened in the future.

His Majesty extended his kindest regards and prayed that Allah the Almighty bless him with continued good health and happiness.

In the message to the Pakistan prime minister, His Majesty said he was very pleased with the warm and long-standing friendship enjoyed by the two countries, and looked forward to further strengthening the bilateral ties as well as regional and international partnerships shared between Brunei Darussalam and the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, especially in the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) and the Commonwealth.

His Majesty prayed that Allah the Almighty bless him with continued good health and happiness and the people of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan with continued peace, progress and prosperity.

His Royal Highness Prince Mohamed Bolkiah, the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade, also sent a congratulatory message to Sartaj Aziz, Adviser to the Pakistan Prime Minister on National Security and Foreign Affairs, Islamic Republic of Pakistan.

His Royal Highness said, “I have great pleasure in sending my warmest congratulations to you and the government and people of the Islamic

Republic of Pakistan as you celebrate Pakistan Day.

“I greatly appreciate the friendly relations between our two countries and much value the contribution of your people to Brunei Darussalam’s, especially in the health and education (sectors). I look forward to continuing our work together to strengthen our bilateral relations and our regional and international cooperation,” His Royal Highness added.
