Crown Prince Consented to Welcome Thai’s PM & Spouse

BRUNEI-MUARA: His Excellency General (Rtd) Prayut Chan-o-cha, the Prime Minister of Thailand and wife, Associate Professor Naraporn Chan-o-cha, arrived in the country this afternoon for a two-day official visit, ©BRUDIRECT.COM reported.

Present at the Brunei International Airport to welcome His Excellency and wife were His Royal Highness Prince Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah ibni His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah, the Crown Prince and Senior Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office as the Personal Representative of His Majesty; and Her Royal Highness Paduka Seri Pengiran Anak Isteri Pengiran Anak Sarah binti Pengiran Haji Salleh Ab Rahaman.

Also present was Yang Berhormat Pehin Datu Singamenteri Retired Colonel Dato Seri Setia (Dr) Awang Haji Mohammad Yasmin bin Haji Umar, the Minister of Energy at the Prime Minister’s Office as the Minister-in-Attendance and Datin.

Upon arrival, His Excellency was invited onto the dais to receive the Salute of Honour accompanied by the national anthems of both countries. His Excellency then inspected the Guard of Honour mounted by the Royal Brunei Land Forces personnel.

His Excellency was then introduced to the Cabinet Ministers; Deputy Ministers; the Commander of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces; the Acting Commissioner of Police; Foreign envoys in Brunei Darussalam; Permanent Secretaries at the Prime Minister’s Office and Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade and their respective spouses.
